RGPLP - General Practitioner needed for New Denver Medical Clinic

Role and Facility Information

Coverage for absent physician in a one-in-three arrangement. Each physician covers practice and low-volume ER for approx 10 days per month. Second, resident physician will be in town and in office part-time covering a separate vacant NP practice. Willing to assist if busy, give advice etc. also some willingness to take call for a day or two if locum has been busy and needs a rest (unusual )

(End date may be Nov 30 @ 2000 or Dec 1 @ 0800 depending on whether 24 hour ER is reinstated).

Clinic Composition

2 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, office staff.

Local Resources

On site lab and xray several mornings/week. istat after hours and some x-ray call back availability. PT, OT, and mental health have weekly hours on site. Full time HCCN on site.

Emergency Framework

24/7 ER with on site RN, one trauma bed, 2 holding beds. Ambulance services located in same building. Typically 2-10 ER visits per day. Varies by season.

Call Expectations

1 in 2 ( relatively low volume- 2-8 per day typically)
