Role and Facility Information

We are a collegial and supportive 5 physician team taking a team based approach to health care

This is a unique opportunity to work in clinic, long term care as well as urgent and emergency room care. We have a daytime Emerg Shifts.

Dates are flexible.

Dr. Webb is looking for a locum for paternity leave. Aside from the call shifts, you can work as little as 2 days a week or as many as you like. Due to the nature of the clinic’s urgent care model, this is an excellent opportunity to tailor your schedule to your needs.

5 Physicians, office staff. A fantastic Locum opportunity at the South Similkameen Health Centre awaits you. Nestled in the beautiful town of Keremeos, the South Similkameen Health Centre - part of an excellent Primary Care Network Initiative.

Local Resources

Lab, X-ray, Extended Care, Home Nursing, Dietetian, Physio, Mental Health and Addictions, Social Workers, Pharmacy.

Mammography located in Penticton.

Emergency Framework

Ambulance including Air Ambulance services.

Call Expectations

Daytime Emergency Call plus clinic hours (Mon-Fri from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm). Other physician(s) on site during office hours Mon-Fri 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Accommodation Description

Accommodation and car rental, if required, will be the responsibility of the Host physician or Health Authority for all “C” and “D” communities on the RSA Communities Designation list. LRBC will reimburse for travel to and from the locum community

Car Rentals National and Budget are located at the airport.
