Program Manager, Recruitment Services

Reporting to the Executive Director, Health Match BC, and working within a high-performance, collaborative environment, you will play a key leadership role both within Health Match BC and with our provincial and inter-provincial recruitment partners. As Program Manager, you will lead and provide direction, supervision and mentoring to a team of recruitment professionals, as they work to develop and implement innovative and modern strategies towards the recruitment of physicians, specialty nurses and other allied health professionals to BC communities in need.

While a deep understanding of healthcare recruitment would be preferred, strong leadership, project management, and the ability to drive process improvements are essential.

  • University degree, in economics, business administration or related discipline and ten (10) years recent related experience, providing expertise in process improvement and project management preferably for public sector or related employers. Experience in the development of recruitment strategies is considered an asset.
  • Superior relationship, consensus building and communication skills with the ability to provide strategic consultative advice, problem solve, and facilitate resolutions within unclear guidelines and established frameworks.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation, ability prioritize work for self and others, handle multiple projects simultaneously, make formal presentations and possess advanced computer software skills.
  • Understanding the health care challenges facing rural and remote communities as well as urban areas will be an asset.
